Cosibelimab-ipdl

Cosibelimab-ipdl

Cosibelimab-ipdl (Unloxcyt™) is a programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1)–blocking antibody that inhibits the interaction of PD-L1 with its receptors, PD-1 and B7.1, on T cells. By blocking this pathway, cosibelimab helps prevent tumor cells from suppressing the immune response, enabling T- cells to recognize and destroy cancer cells more effectively. In addition, cosibelimab may enhance antitumor activity by recruiting other immune effector cells that directly target and kill cancer cells.

Cosibelimab is indicated for the treatment of adults with metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (mCSCC) or locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (laCSCC) who are not candidates for curative surgery or curative radiation therapy.
